HiPP Growing up Milk 4 powder is nutritionally tailored to complement your toddler’s balanced diet from age 2+ years. Based on more than 60 years of breastmilk research, our stage 4 formula milk powder contains important nutrients, such as vitamin D and iron, which contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

Skimmed milk, lactose, vegetable oils (palm oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), galacto-oligosaccharides from lactose, potassium citrate, calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, calcium salts of citric acid, magnesium carbonate, fish oil, vitamin C, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, vitamin B2, vitamin A, potassium iodate, folic acid, vitamin D, D-biotin, vitamin B12.

Important Feeding Information
• Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to milk feeds.
• For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made up feeds immediately, and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed, or 2 hours after preparation.
• Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding.
• Please clean your baby’s teeth regularly when they appear.
• Use the sachet within 3 weeks of opening.
 
Preparing the feed
Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
 
1. Measure 150ml or 5fl. oz of cooled boiled water into a clean beaker.
2. Using the scoop provided, add 5 levelled scoops of powder into the beaker.
3. Mix well for 10 seconds to dissolve powder.
4. Replace lid on beaker. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding.
 
Storage information:
Store in a cool dry place – do not refrigerate.
Use sachet within 3 weeks of opening.

What is the difference between stage 3 and stage 4 growing up milk?

HiPP Growing Up Milk 4 has been specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of children aged 2-3 years when they may be moving on to drinking semi-skimmed milk.

It is higher in calcium, iron and Vitamins A, C, D and E than semi-skimmed or whole cow's milk, so it can provide a valuable source of these important nutrients in a young child’s diet.  

GUM 4 does not contain as many fortified vitamins and minerals. It has a lower energy level compared to GUM 3 as, by the age of 2 years old, children would normally be eating a very well-balanced and varied diet. If you have any concerns about your child’s diet or which formula milk is right for them, please speak to your healthcare professional.

When to start growing up milk stage 4?

HiPP Growing Up Milk 4 Powder is for use from 2 years onwards.

Is stage 4 growing up milk good for toddlers?

After your child’s second birthday, the Department of Health advises that they can gradually move onto semi-skimmed milk as a main milk drink, as long as your child is eating a varied and balanced diet and growing well.  

HiPP Growing Up Milk 4 has been specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of children aged 2-3 years, at a time when they may be moving on to drinking semi-skimmed milk.

As a suitable alternative, it aims to further improve nutritional status in young children, by adding nutrients that are generally low (or lacking) in the diet.

We know that everyone has different experiences and wants to do the very best for their little ones. Some parents choose to transition their little ones onto growing up milk 4 to complement their diets when they reach 2 years old.
