Allergy Advice
Please note:
The ingredients and allergy information is correct at time of issue and is checked on a regular basis, but we always recommend that you check the product label for ingredient information.
Important Feeding Information

• HiPP comfort milk is thicker than standard infant formulas so may flow better through a faster flow teat.
• Only use the scoop provided in the pack
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to milk feeds
• For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made up feeds immediately, and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed, or 2 hours after preparation.
• Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding
• A responsible person should be with your baby during feeding
• Please clean your baby’s teeth regularly when they appear
• Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with milk feeds which may increase the risk of tooth decay
• Use sachet within 3 weeks of opening
• If you switch to HiPP comfort milk your baby's stool consistency may change. This is typical for products that contain oligosaccharides, which may make baby's stools softer.

Important notice:
• Breastfeeding is best for babies
• May be used as a baby's sole source of nutrition from birth. It should only be used under medical supervision.
• Not suitable for parenteral use
• Do not use if your baby is allergic to cows‘ milk

What is comfort milk?

HiPP Comfort milk is a nutritionally complete milk formula that is suitable for the dietary management of colic and constipation from birth.

Under medical supervision, it can be used as the sole source of nutrition for a baby, or as part of a varied weaning diet when introduced at around 6 months.

Please speak to your healthcare professional for advice before use.

When should I change my baby to comfort milk?

HiPP Comfort milk is a nutritionally complete milk formula which is suitable for the dietary management of colic and constipation from birth.

Comfort Milk is classed as a “food for special medical purposes” and for this reason should only be used under medical supervision. It should only be used after discussing the best management of your baby’s feeding problems with your healthcare professional.

How long should a baby be on Comfort milk?

Comfort milk is suitable from birth until 1 year of age, but very often symptoms of colic and constipation can start to subside as the baby gets older, their gut matures and also once weaning is established. You should consult with your own healthcare professional before starting to use Comfort milk, and they would also be able to advise when it's best to move your baby off of this milk.

Does comfort milk help constipation?

Feeding problems are common in babies, and colic and constipation are amongst the more common problems experienced. Comfort milk is a specially developed formula with a reduced lactose content and hydrolysed protein, which makes it suitable for the dietary management of problems such as colic and constipation.
